Interactive Dog Toys: Smart Play Specs

Interactive Dog Toys: Smart Play Specs

Buyers searching interactive dog toys wholesale usually want enrichment they can reorder, not a battery toy and not another gift plush. On this floor that means the Smart Play series: fleece and felt puzzles, snuffle constructions, and TPR shapes a dog has to roll or work. Start the conversation with the Dog Pizza Box (SKU MN-1176). It is an active dog toy in fleece and felt, beige, catalog MOQ 120. The size field in the product record is stored as 24.524.56, which is not a usable dimension. Treat it as a data error and confirm length, width, and height on the sample before you print a carton mark.

Two neighbors belong in the same first quote. The IQ Puzzle Eggs (MN-1183) is fleece and felt, beige, listed at 28×16×8, also MOQ 120. The Treat Roller Toy (MN-1208) is TPR, 17.5×7.5×7.5 cm, 332.7 g, colorways pink, blue, yellow, and green, MOQ 120. None of these records publish a price, a lab certificate, or a chew-grade claim. If a buyer needs CPSIA, EN71, or REACH paperwork, that is a separate test plan, not a line already sitting on the SKU.

The wider assortment lives on the products catalog. This note is about how to build one wholesale box from three under-used Smart Play shapes, then decide what is open stock and what needs a private label change.

What “interactive” means on this wholesale list

On Smart Play, interactive means the dog does a small task: sniff through fleece, pull felt pieces, or roll a TPR body so a treat moves. It does not mean an app, a timer, or a score. The product copy talks about ordinary home play. That is merchandising language, not a feeding trial.

The buyers who do well here are pet shops that want one enrichment bay, DTC brands that can ship a flat textile toy plus one rubber piece, and distributors who can live with MOQ 120 per SKU. Marketplace sellers use the same open stock when they want a reorder before they pay for new artwork.

Do not make this the only line if returns read “gone in one afternoon.” Fleece and felt are not a nylon bone. Pair a puzzle with Classic Chew for a power chewer, and say that on the listing. Catalog MOQ on every SKU below is 120. That is the record, not a startup exception and not a container minimum. If someone needs a handful of pieces for a photo shoot, ask. Do not write 50 on the line sheet because a deck rounded down.

Lock the fleece and felt puzzles first

The Dog Pizza Box and the IQ Puzzle Eggs are the soft half of the box. Both are dogs-only in the catalog. Both list fleece and felt. Both are beige. Both sit at MOQ 120. That is the part you can put on a sell sheet today.

For the eggs, 28×16×8 is what the database stores. It does not say centimeters. Measure the pre-production sample and write the unit on the spec yourself. Weight is empty, so do not invent a grams figure for a freight calculator. Weigh the sealed retail pack, not the loose plush on the table.

The pizza box is worse. 24.524.56 looks like two numbers that lost their separator. I would not print it on a hangtag, a master carton, or an Amazon listing. Ask the factory to remeasure and send a photo with a tape in frame. Until that photo exists, the honest line is “size confirm on sample.”

Construction questions that change the quote: how the felt pieces attach, stitch density on the openings a dog noses into, whether loose fill can migrate into a pocket, and whether beige is one dye lot or two fibers that will photograph differently.

Same family, if you need another silhouette: the Dog Carrots IQ Toy (MN-1180, orange, listed 21.9×29×13, MOQ 120) and the Strawberry IQ (MN-1182, color name Mix, listed 29×21.5×11, MOQ 120). Units on those size strings are not labeled either. Confirm them.

The TPR treat roller is a different SKU, not a colorway

The Treat Roller Toy is the piece that keeps this wholesale offer from being “all mats.” Recorded specs:

  • SKU MN-1208, Smart Play, dogs
  • Material: TPR
  • Size: 17.5×7.5×7.5 cm
  • Weight: 332.7 g
  • Colors: pink, blue, yellow, green
  • MOQ: 120
  • Price and certifications: not on the record

332.7 g is heavy next to a fleece egg set. Put it in its own inner pack if you are building a mixed gift carton, or the textile toy arrives creased. The size is specific enough to start a dieline. Still check the cavity: the database does not say how a treat is loaded, what kibble size fits, or whether the opening is a slit, a plug, or a hole. Those three options change both molding and the choking story you put on the warning label.

Color MOQ is the quiet trap. The catalog lists four colorways and one MOQ of 120. It does not say 120 per color. Ask. If the plant dyes or compounds TPR per color, a “one of each” first order can turn into 480 pieces before anyone notices. If they already run all four from open stock, 120 mixed may be fine. Get that sentence in the quotation, not in a WeChat aside.

QC on the roller, in the order I would actually do it: weigh a sample against 332.7 g (a big miss is a different cavity or compound, not normal variation), roll it on a hard floor, cycle the opening for flash or a tearing wall, and smell it after a night in a closed bag. Do not claim a Shore hardness. It is not in the product record.

How a first wholesale carton actually mixes

Open wholesale cartons holding a faceted TPR ball, an orange soccer-shaped toy, and a small snuffle box

A first order does not need every Smart Play row. Cover three jobs: a soft puzzle the shopper can read in a photo (pizza box or eggs), the treat roller, and one smaller add-on so the bay is not two SKUs.

The Diamond Roll Ball (MN-1223) is the clean add-on: TPR, 6×6 cm, 86.7 g, yellow, green, gray, and navy, listed for dogs and cats, MOQ 120. It is a nudge toy, not a puzzle, and it will not dominate a carton that already holds a 332.7 g roller. The Soccer Ball (MN-1154) is the sport-shape alternative: polyester and TPR, orange, dogs only, size string 9.5×9.5×14.5 with no unit and no weight, MOQ 120. Leave that weight blank until you scale a packed unit.

| Slot | SKU | Watch-out |

| --- | --- | --- |

| Soft puzzle | MN-1176 Dog Pizza Box | Size string is broken |

| Second textile | MN-1183 IQ Puzzle Eggs | 28×16×8 has no unit; weight blank |

| Treat motion | MN-1208 Treat Roller Toy | Confirm color MOQ and cavity |

| Optional small | MN-1223 Diamond Roll Ball | 6×6 cm, 86.7 g; not a snuffle |

That is 360 pieces before the optional ball, 480 with it. A 48-piece mixed show carton is a sampling ask, not the published MOQ. Only the roller and the diamond ball have product weights, and neither includes the mailer.

Open stock, private label, and when to call it ODM

Most of these shapes can ship as open stock: your hangtag, their body, MOQ 120. Beige fleece puzzles take a woven label and a paper band without a new mold. A logo on the curved TPR roller needs a print that still shows on yellow and green, plus a placement that survives rolling. Ask for those two strike-offs, not only the pink.

Private label pet toys covers hangtags, header cards, barcodes, and a color already on the swatch list. It does not cover a new cavity, a new piece count inside the eggs, or a pizza box you have decided is 24 cm square. That is ODM, and it needs another sample. Changing the opening on MN-1208 can also move the 332.7 g weight. If a marketplace template needs the listed weight, do not restyle the cavity.

Pizza box and eggs are beige only. A charcoal request is a new dye lot or compound, and it may reset MOQ per color. Get a lab dip before you approve a render. On the pack, say fleece and felt, or TPR, or polyester and TPR. Say dogs, except the diamond roll ball, which lists dogs and cats. Do not print “IQ tested,” a slow-feed percentage, or the pizza-box size until it is remeasured. Small felt pieces and a treat opening need a choke-and-supervise line for US or EU retail. Book any lab test against the signed sample, not against this page.

QC that still matters at MOQ 120

Fleece and felt fail quietly. Check the seam around every opening a nose goes into. Felt edges fuzz after a week in a shop basket. Fleece and felt sold as one beige will not match unless someone matched the dye lots. If the egg set is sold as a count, count it at packing.

On the TPR pieces, weigh against 332.7 g and 86.7 g, look for flash, and check pastel swatches under the same light as the beige fleece. Do not stack the roller on the plush. Bag the TPR so the textile does not pick up the odor. Barcode the SKU you packed. MN-1176 and MN-1183 are both beige puzzles, and a warehouse will swap them.

What to send with the quote

Contact the factory with SKUs, not with the keyword: MN-1176 beige, 120, size to be remeasured; MN-1183 beige, 120, confirm whether 28×16×8 is cm; MN-1208 mixed colors or per color; optional MN-1223 at 120 with the dog-and-cat listing; hangtag only or a TPR logo strike-off; destination market if testing should be quoted.

Leave price, Shore, and “passes EN71” off the email. None of that is on these records. The series page is still Smart Play, and the commercial doors stay products, private label, and ODM. A beige fleece pizza box, a 28×16×8 egg puzzle, and a 332.7 g TPR roller can share a bay. They should not share a spec line.
